Beautiful historic remodel in East Medford, Oregon.
Designed in 1938 by Frank Clark, the most famous architect in the Rogue Valley, this property had gone through a number of unfortunate remodels that stripped the home of its original charm. As design-builders, Benchmark listened to the homeowner, drew-up the plans and created more useable space by adding 21⁄2 bathrooms, enlarging the garage door and engineered the concrete retaining walls along the driveway to accommodate modern vehicles. All new electrical and plumbing was needed throughout, along with a new roof, better insulation, and a high-efficiency heating and cooling system. The arched awning mirrors the front window and an elevated porch was added at the back, so the mature trees and landscaping can be enjoyed in the spring, summer, and fall.
